B1 İngilizce seviyesi, Avrupa Konseyi tarafından farklı dil seviyeleri için yazılmış bir tanımlama olan Avrupa Dilleri Ortak Çerçeve Programı’nda (CEFR) üçüncü seviyedir. Bu seviye, günlük konuşma dilinde “orta seviye” olarak adlandırılabilir ve bu zaten CEFR’deki resmi seviye tanımlamasıdır. Öğrenciler bu seviyede temelden daha öte seviyededir ancak yine de sadece İngilizce dilinde çalışamaz ya da eğitim göremezler.
